Last time we talked about me starting Food Photography and I have now been doing it for a month. I have completed over 50 restaurants in the Dallas/ Fort Worth and surrounding areas. I have some pretty solid recommendations.

This one, was in the middle of the pack. It wasn't food at all. I was super surprised to see this pop up as needing my services.

They only recently opened, but I got to photograph flowers! Grand Prairie Floral, 613 W Main St. Grand Prairie. They aren't in google yet but now you can check them out. 

I did this floral session a few days before Valentines Day and I was pretty impressed with her artistic work. The arrangements were beautifully and skillfully done. As I took mini breaks to step out of the room I was working in, I would watch her working away on the next arrangement and the look of intensity in her eyes and the joy on her face showed that she had true passion for what she was doing.

I truly admire people that have the same passion about something dear to them as I have for my photography. Getting it right is always a must.

I spoke to her passion about her craft b/c she was super insistent on making sure that the flowers were moist and alive.  She had this spray that was for live plants. It gave them a fresh rain look. She was super concerned about how her flowers looked.  Almost in my way super sprayer lady. Lol. Passion will do that to you.

At the end of our session, she presented me with a large floral arrangement in my favorite colors. Red and purple. I was so grateful and felt so appreciated.  Not to mention, being single at Valentines Day meant I got flowers anyway.

I strutted out of that shop with my flowers.

It was a break from the smell and aromas of food. The sweet smells intertwined with each other, the bright vibrant colors, the beautiful vases they were in.

If you happen to be in Grand Prairie, stop and pick up and arrangement. It doesn't have to be a special occasion to send/give someone flowers. I am certain she will make you a work of art with the same passion I saw that day.
