My recent session at BBQ King Express in Dallas was nothing short of amazing. The owner welcomed me with so much kindness, and I had the chance to photograph—and of course, sample—some of their signature dishes.

The Star of the Show: The Lava Cheeseburger

The moment they brought out the Lava Cheeseburger, I knew it was going to be special. Served on a sizzling skillet, the chef pours the gooey, melty cheese right in front of you—an experience as delicious as it is photogenic.

This burger has everything you want: juicy, flavorful, and yes, delightfully messy. I couldn’t decide whether to tackle it with my hands or a fork… and after a few bites, I’ll admit—I gave up and grabbed a fork! (I was too busy licking cheese off my fingers, lol.)
