As a food photographer I get to see lots of different types of food at different style restaurants. Cooking, much like photography is an ART. 

My session at BBQ King Express was eye opening. The owner was super nice and I got to try some new dishes.

The Fattoush was exceptionally good. I went back a couple times just for it.

But I want to talk about their newest creation.

The Lava Cheeseburger. 

OMG! It was absolutely amazing. All the things you want in a good burger. It was completely messy.... The messier the better I say. I couldn't decide whether to tackle it with my hands or a fork. 

I ended up using a fork. I wasn't getting anywhere with my hands. Lol. I was too busy licking the cheese off my fingers that I wasn't able to actually bite into it. Lol.

They bring the dish out on a sizzling skillet and add the cheesy goodness right in front of you!

For the faint at heart, there is no heat to this Lava creation despite its name. Just cheesy goodness. Of course if you want to add a bit of heat to it they are ready to add on the spiciness!

I finished my Lava Cheeseburger off with a cold glass of sweet Lassi. 

This exceptional restaurant is also a pizzeria and even though I have yet to try one of their pizzas, photographing them had me in a bit of a daze. And their calzones were HUGE!!! The owner talked with me about all of his plans to take his restaurant to the next level. 

I have so many more experiences to share. This experience definitely gets a thumbs up.
